Police are looking for an SUV that killed a 20 year old college student. Kelly Walters was on a crosswalk when she was hit. Cameras were able to capture people helping her out when she was hit, but it hardly got the vehicle. Family said she was a natural leader. She was determined to change the world. In the first grade, she wrote a letter to the president saying how she was gonna be an amazing president and was devastated during the 9/11 attack. She died a week before she could go to the Human Rights mission in Africa.
This just comes to show that anyone can be a someone here. It just isn't right when someone takes it away and doesn't take the punishment. Especially when it was someone who could've been our president one day. This relates to APUSH because there have been many crimes throughout history that go unnoticed, for example during slavery. Some whites would treat their slaves so badly that even they got to get punished for unfairness but some didn't even get arrested. I just hope her family can overcome this.
Agreed. There are so many terrible things that happen that never get any notice. I'm really hoping they can catch this person because no one deserves to die like that, and no one should go unoticed
