Just this weekend, the measles attacked Disneyland and affected at least 52 people. The measles seemed to be gone. It is a virus that hasn't shown up in quite some time. But not only has it made it's way to California, but Mexico and Colorado and some other states as well. The affects of measles can cause extreme damage to the body. After vaccines were created about 40 years ago however, the measles didn't have to be a constant worry anymore. But now, well, that's a different story.
This reminds me of the Colombian Exchange because of people from all different places coming to a coming area, leaving only to possibly spread and receive a disease. I'm really hoping that this outbreak is treated very well. I am really hoping that the people diagnosed will be able to recover, and those who have a chance of getting it get attention immediately.

If this is a different mutation of the virus then we need to take immediate action instead of not worrying about it until the last minute. We already saw what happened with ebola...
