Two 9-year old twins left alone for days at a time (vanessa de la cruz)

Two twin nine year olds were left in their uncle's apartment for several days at a time fro over a period of five months with just noodle to eat. Giobari Artura was left with his sisters kids to watch them while they went on a trip to Nigeria and said he checked on them 3 days out of the week. During school days the children would get up, get ready, get on the bus, and eat breakfast and lunch at school. Giobari did not move into the apartment with the children instead he instructed the to call him on their neighbors phone if they needed anything. The school called Division of Children Youth and said there was no edible food just roman noodles. The parents of the children were suppose to come back after a month but couldn't because of illness and passport issues. Artura was rightfully charged with endangering a child but no charges were put on the parents. What an idiot this guy goes every 3 days to check on them. The children can drown, slip and fall, cut themselves, or for that matter get kidnapped coming from school but no one would notice since he only checks on them3 days out of seven.
