Wedding Dress Stolen; Anonymously Replaced - Madison Russell

Kelly Cays purchased her dream wedding dress because it closely resembled the one of her grandmother.

So when she found out that her dress was stolen, along with her car, Cays felt awful.

Not only did her family pitch in to help her purchase the $1,800 dress, but the dress had a deep, sentimental resonance to Kelly.

----

After filing a report and calling local shops and pawn stores around the area, the dress company from which she purchased the dress contacted her saying that someone had bought the dress for her -paid in full- to "pay it forward". The donor remains anonymous, but it is known that she was a woman.

Kelly Cays is extremely thankful and wishes she could thank the woman.

  2. That's so sweet! Especially heartwarming to know that she chose a dress to resemble her grandmother's, and it somehow found it's way back to her.

  3. Omg, that's great! The fact that the woman chose to remain anonymous is very admirable, because most people would have wanted credit for that!
