A man was reported to have fired into a Jewish community center this Sunday, before driving over to a retirement center, shooting, and killing one more person. The suspect's name won't be released, but he's not from Kansas City, the location of the shooting, and he's in his 70's. Police can't find the motive yet but they are looking into a hate crime or just an act of violence.
With the limited information being given at the moment, it's tough to wrap your head around this horrible crime. Did the man want to commit some kind of genocide in a hate crime? Did he even have a distinct motive? My heart goes out to the three killed by the suspect's gunshots, i hope their families can find peace when more of the story is released. What do y'all think about this dude? Sad to think we still have prejudice and discrimination in a country noted for refuge for all races, genders, sexual orientations- we've finally become a true melting pot, and there are people who refuse to accept these new ideas.
