New York Times released an article titled Ex-Pastor who raped adopted daughter only receives 12 years.This is awful considering maximum is considered 72 years. The world is very messed up and those who commit crimes such as these deserve to be punished. Our world continues to be a patriarchy and women and children do not gain the rights they deserve. The world cannot stand when women abort fetuses who haven't developed a nervous system , but when a child is in danger of their lives, it barely goes punished. Women rights movement is far from over.
