Gas Protest goes wrong- Madi Haggard

In Paris, on Saturday more than 200 people were arrested and injured after encounters erupted between police and protesters. At least 92 people were injured including 14 police officers. Protester movements went to the streets to demonstrate against rising gas prices and taxes on polluting forms of transport. The protests on Saturday marks the third consecutive week of demonstrations.

I think its intriguing how a community can come together and unite over something they all care about.  I hope the families and residents are helping those injured.   1. Emma Burkey: I agree that it is very impressive that a community can come together and protest for three weeks over one issue. That just shows you that nothing will stop the voice of the people over something truly important.
