Adriann Wrice -Dallas restaurants sparks NRA heat

The National Rifle Association had its annual meeting this weekend in Dallas, and one local restaurant got into some drama over gun control. Ellen's Restaurant wrote a message on the bottom of its receipts on Friday morning: "Thanks for visiting Ellen's! A portion of this week's proceeds will be donated to organizations dedicated to implementing reasonable and effective gun regulations. Welcome to Dallas!"
This sparked a huge debate with the NRA telling everyone to boycott which instead brought HUGE business to Ellen’s. They have made over 15,000 which they plan on donating most of to fun regulations

This is wonderful. I hope this Shows the NRA that they don’t have as many people on their team as they thought. I think this is important to US history because it shows that the citizens actually were involved in the social needs and they actually worried for a change instead of just saying they need a Change. This is like when the revolutionaries actually fought for independence.
