In “preparation” for the World Cup, Russia has cities contracting companies to “catch” and put strays into non-existent shelters. In reality, cities such as Sochi have contracts created to eliminate a specific number of strays through means of poison darts and other methods to kill in domesticated animals on the streets with poison. This is not the first time such an event has occurred, a similar case happened before the Winter Games initiated.
There’s great mistrust in the Russian government and lies that are fed to the public from them simply increase the unsettling view the citizens receive of their country leaders. Sound familiar? Quite a trend to “misplace” truth to the public in America. Watergate Scandal is a thought. And Trump.

That is extremely inhumane and cruel. Although what should I expect? This is Russia/Putin were talking about here. As if he gives/cares about this.
