Plumes near jupiter.

Scientists have discovered evidence of water plumes erupting from the surface of europa--one of jupiters moons. Such evidence comes from the space craft galileo. Data has been available for such a phenomenon for decades however current analysis confirms the findings. Nonetheless, it made sense that Europa had plumes, since the Cassini spacecraft had definitely seen water plumes from Enceladus, an icy moon orbiting Saturn that's similar to Europa. plumes give off a distinctive signal that a magnetometer can measure.

This article is interesting because it brings forth further possibility that there could be life not only on mars buy on planets and natural satellites very far away from earth.
