Within the past few weeks, there has been tons of rainy and stormy weather. In the Northeast, the so called "nor'easter" killed at least six people and left 900,000+ without power. It caused coastal flooding with heavy rain and snow. The governors of Maryland, Massachusetts, and Virginia are working to help the ones affected by the storms.
The power of nature is dangerous. We can't always predict what will happen, and how hard it could hit. There's lots of ways to prevent the simple things like flooding, and storing energy to power a city without electricity, but we just need to get the time to make all these solutions happen.
When Hurricane Harvey hit, millions of people had to recover from it, and it took months and months (even now they aren't fully there). If there was a system set in place and at easy access, we will be ready for whatever comes next.

It really sucks that storms appear out of nowhere. I wish that we didn't have to worry about them.
ReplyDeleteJoaquin Sanchez- this weather this season is outrageous
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy that a huge storm hit the Northeast, it seems like not that long ago Hurricane Harvey was hitting the South.
