Over 4,000 Guns seized from buyers who failed background checks -Sam Blumberg

According to a new report by USA Today, the FBI issued 4,170 orders last year to seize guns from people who shouldn't be able to have guns in the first place. The federal background check system doesn't allow anyone to buy a gun who has been convicted of a crime punishable by more than a year,  who has an open warrant, has been convicted of a misdemeanor of domestic violence, is addicted to a controlled substance, is an illegal citizen, or has a mental health problem. People who fall under these categories shouldn't have guns in the first place and this goes to show that the government has to be more strict on the selling of guns for everyone's safety, especially after the events of the past few months.
