Hannah Howell- Report Finds Chemicals In 1/3 Of Fast Food Packaging
Summary: A recent study has discovered some harmful chemicals in some common fast food wrapping. These chemicals have been found to have quite a few negative effects. The same chemicals used to make furniture glossy is what is on the wrappings. It is used for the wrapping to prevent the food from sticking. The effects also factor in with the type of food, and how long its been in the packaging. The sooner you take it out the better. There is no information on the specific chains that use said wrappings.
Analysis: This is kind of concerning. As someone who enjoys some good fast food this makes me kind of nervous. If you are a frequent fast food consumer, I would think about cutting down on some of that. Though it tastes good, this is kind of risky, and you can never go wrong with fresh fruit and vegetables.
