First Trump approval rating lags behind past presidents Kyla Thomas (1st Period)
Summary: This article discusses Donald Trump's presidential progress in his last two weeks of presidency. A majority of 53% of American disapprove of the way Donald Trump has handled his presidency, which is the lowest approval rating in presidential history. Most oppose the travel restrictions put in place by executive order last week, and 55% say they see it as an attempt to ban Muslims from entering the US. Further, 6 in 10 oppose Trump's plan to build a wall along the border with Mexico. The wall is not going to put an end to terror in the United States. Not all immigrants are bad people. There are good people who deserve to have jobs and live the lives that they are promised in the United States. Donald Trump's executive decisions have made an impact on people's lives and could possible start a world war.
Analysis: The decisions that Donald Trump has made in only 2 weeks have impacted the lives of people all over the world. People are not able to visit their families. Families are being torn apart. People are not able to live good, promising lives that America offers and other countries are going to eventually get mad and try to go to war. But this is the president that AMERICA elected so we have to live with it. Yes protests can happen, but will they be enough to stop the horrible decisions that the president is in control of? I don't know. What we can do as a people is make sure we keep strong during these next 4 years. In relation to US History, Donald Trump reminds me of Ronald Reagan. The both used very similar tactics. They have similar views on immigration, they are both straight- forward talkers, and they were both dismissed as being serious candidates.

I think that the people of America should have more influence on the actions the president is able to make.
