Summary: Nearly 200,000 people were evacuated from the cities by the Oroville Dam in Florida due to flooding. The evacuation began Sunday when a hole was discovered which allows the dam to overflow. This evacuation caused much chaos. Many people had little to no time to gather their things and leave. Some even robbed gas stations on their way out. The dam has two spillways that let water out to prevent overflow however both are broken. The flooding could affect people all the way up to 75 miles downstream.
Analysis: I think it's good that the governor took precautions to set this evacuation into place. The harm it could bring to so many is scary to think about. I am going to synthesize this to when many Indian tribes would leave abrubtly when there was no food left or conditions got bad. In this case, people will always have to leave their homes in case of any natural disaster. I think the Indians anticipated the natural disasters and made it so that they could easily leave in case of emergency at all times.
