Tim Wong, an aquatic biologist, used his freetime to bring back an endangered species of butterflies, the California Pipevine Swallowtail. Wong, after dicovering the eating habits of this butterfly, travelled to the San Fransisco Botanical Gardens, and asked to take clippings of the plant that the swallowtail eats mainly. He was granted some clippings, with which he built a large screened enclosure, to be used as a sanctuary for the California Pipline Swallowtail. Within four years, Wong has single-handedly brought this wondrous species back in bulk.
This is really admirable. The patience and persistence this man must have is in itself phenomenal. Good Job, Tim Wong.
I love this current event. Butterflies are so beautiful. They represent new life to me. So glad this was done.
