Summary: On an Aeromexico flight from Torreon to Mexico City yesterday, passengers noted a snake dangling overhead on the plane. The pilot landed immediately and animal control took the snake out. The airline is still trying to figure out how the snake got there in the first place so they can avoid a future incident.
Analysis: I am not surprised that a snake was found on the plane, however I am surprised that incidents like this do not occur more often. It is concerning that people do not know how the snake got there. If a truly dangerous organism had made its way onto the flight and possibly attacked the cockpit, many people could have died. Although it is funny to compare this to the movie Snakes on a Plane, this will hopefully not happen again.

ReplyDeleteSuper funny that they can't figure out how it got there. I mean a snake just shows up on a plane and a passenger points it out. It has to be embarrassing for the pilot.
