Historic Flood in South Carolina by Savannah Boyack

http://www.cnn.com/2015/10/04/us/east-coast-rain-flood/

Officials are struggling to keep count of the people they are trying to save from the flood in South Carolina. Eric Rousey has claimed that, "It's a historic flood the likes of which we haven't seen."
Most of the damage has been done in Dorchester and Charleston, where at least 30,000 people are without power. You can find out more about the situation in the article I linked.

I'm glad the state is working so hard to save the people who need help. It seems like disasters like these are what bring people together. I wonder what we could do to make people get along without there having to be some sort of huge tragedy to make us come to our senses.
