Summary:The article I read was about the flash floods in France. The main source of these flash floods is the Cote d'Azur. So many people have died and there are also missing numbers. These flash floods are very strong, they have taken out cars to sea and uprooted grown trees. The riskiest parts of the flood are the crossroads, it's where most of the water was, which produced strong currents. Many people require assistance on a daily basis. Among having flash floods, France is dealing with power outages, missing cars, houses and having to provide many(now)homeless people with food and shelter.
Analysis: Although these floods are quite devastating, some people still go out and continue with their daily life, depending how bad the flood is in certain parts in their area. In conclusion, I guess its true that the french are tough, I mean they eat 'pain' for breakfast and now they're simply ignoring flash floods? Let it not be said that the french are not brave.

Going on with your daily routine (if it includes leaving the house) can be extremely dangerous during a flash flood warning. Cars could potentially get stuck in a deeply flooded area and not allow the driver or passengers out. Madeline Jones 4th period
