"Donald Trump on Bush 9/11 remarks: 'I'm not blaming anybody'" Nora Bracy 5th

Donald Trump stands by his comments he made about former President Bush not keeping America safe during his presidency, of course, in reference to the 9/11 attacks. Trump said he's not blaming Bush for the attacks, but he believes that the attacks could've been prevented.

Personally, I am not a fan of former President Bush. That's a fact. But I do not believe that Donald Trump could've handled 9/11 any better than Bush. And I think it's ridiculous for him to think he could have. Despite all the conspiracy theories, 9/11 was a terrorist attack that no one saw coming. I don't think there was really a way to prevent it, because again, I disagree with most of Bush's actions, but I don't think Bush would have let hundreds of people die like they did if there was a way to prevent it. Maybe that's just optimism, but I think Trump, instead of criticizing Bush's presidency, should maybe focus on America's problems today, especially when there is a chance he could become the next president. Trump needs to just stop being so arrogant all the time. It's like blaming Roosevelt for Pearl Harbor. Yeah, it was during his presidency, but it doesn't mean he caused it.

  1. I totally agree with Nora. Trump needs to stop bashing other presidents and actually do something productive with his campaign.

  3. I feel like because he doesn't have any substance to his campaign, he tries to distract from that through criticizing others. He is sad.

  4. This is so well said. Trump needs to stop dwelling on the past and worry about his own campaign.

Though it is in fact true that jet fuel cannot melt steel beams, I agree. Donald trump should not criticize George Bush for 9/11 because at the end of the day, they are both equally stupid.
