Former President George Bush Passes Away- Gracie Zytynski
The 41st President George Bush passed away on November 30. Bush died at his home in Houston at age 94 and died eight months after his wife, Barbara died. He had a form of Parkinson's disease that forced him to use a wheelchair or motorized scooter. In April, a day after his wife's funeral he was treated for an infection that had spread to his blood. Bush was a Republican who served from 1989 to 1993. He was Navy Pilot, World War II veteran, director of the CIA, diplomat, two term Congressman from Texas, chairman of the Republican National Committee, United States envoy to China, and Vice President to Ronald Reagan. In all, Bush was a very successful man who helped out country greatly.
This article was written by Adam Nagourney apart of the New York Times and published on November 30, 2018. In this, Nagourney reflects Bush's life and achievements to show all Americans his successful life. It also includes Bush's early life, including his former education, leading to his four decades of public service experience. This connects to his son, George W. Bush, who was the 43rd President serving from 2001 to 2009. George W. Bush and George Bush were both great men who helped and served America. This article truly shows George Bush's accomplishments and I hope all are able to appreciate the time he served for our country.
