Dog found after California Fires - Sloan Daley

After the deadly, devastating wild fires that happened in California in October and November, a family came back home and were shocked by what they saw. An animal rescuer first spotted a male Anatolian shepherd, Madison, several days after the fire began on November 8th. The dog was said to be skittish and shy, so the man left food and water on the porch and hoped he would be okay. Madison survived the catastrophic Camp Fire in Northern California, and waited on what used to be his home. The ruins of its property were all that were left, and he waited for nearly a month until his owner finally returned. The owners never expected to find him, but once they did they are now convinced to never lose hope. Madison’s parents wrote in an article online, “Madison was waiting there protecting his former home. Never give up!!”

My Source

This articles message, in my opinion, is to stay hopeful. Even in the times that things may seem impossible, giving up hope is the last thing to do. This can be seen in many events in history, including debates and compromises. For people on the outside, it can be completely unpredictable. However, if you keep a positive mindset you never know what the outcome might be. This is a very fairy tale, disney movie-type story, but there is definitely a good lesson the learn.
