A child was killed and approximately 45 people were injured during an accident. A charter bus carrying a football team from Tennessee rolled off an interstate ramp. Police reported that most of the injured children were taken to the hospital. No more information has been released about the case.

In the past there weren't many people dying via accident via vehicle since there wasn't many cars back then. Nearly 1.3 million people a year die via accident by vehicle. This is truly saddening and we really we need to get it together, so we can have less people die from that.

  1. Cars are so much more deadly than other things we are scared of, like sharks or airplanes. When so many people are in a single vehicle, when something goes wrong it has a much bigger effect.

  2. I agree and people need to take cars more serious on how dangerous they are because they are constantly taking peoples lives.

  3. I agree, I hope the driver wasn't drinking or texting, because with recent cases regarding those 2 reasons for vehicle accidents, you would think he/she knew better. It is horrible that the death toll for vehicle crashes is this high, especially when it could easily be prevented.

  4. That is horrifying, rented vehicles companies should improve their criteria and training so accidents like these don't hurt a lot of people.

  5. I don't think as teens we realize how deadly a car is and I think its something that needs to change. Things can always switch behind the wheel.
