The National Rifle Association has been quite a buzz within the last year mostly related to the events related to school shootings-particularly Parkland, Florida. The NRA has been exceptionally popular and to all not for a good reason due to their stance on the 2nd Amendment and their wishes to cease any plans on gun control. However, the March for Our Lives movement consisting of members of all ages has been started by the survivors of the shooting in Parkland, Florida and also continuously work to try and legislate gun control throughout the nation.
The NRA and the survivors do not remain on good terms, as the NRA funds numerous political campaigns thus causing most politicians to turn aside from the idea of gun control while the March for Our Lives movement continues with political campaigns, constant marches and endless pleas for gun reform. How does this play into Dallas? To get straight to the point, the NRA has a conference every year with thousands of weapons vendors along with their anchormen/women, main representatives, CEO and this year our own President Donald J. Trump and this year-it's in Dallas. The conference this year consisted of NRA CEO speaking out against the Democratic party as they are the ones "blaming them (NRA) for tragedies" and speaking out against the "brilliant" and "life-saving" concept of the ever so popular, "Good Guy with a Gun" mentality while Trump promised himself that no guns or gun reform shall coexist with the NRA during his term.
