Schneiderman responded, "While these allegations are unrelated to my professional conduct or the operations of the office, they will effectively prevent me from form leading office's work at this critical time-". After his reseganation there was an investigation opened against him. This came as a surprise (not really) from one of Donald Trumps political supporters.
