Fire in Arizona Destroying Homes- Ellen Fritz

On May6, 2018, a fire in Arizona destroyed 33 homes and 54 minor structures since it was sparked by an illegal campfire. Fueled by grass and understory, the fire expands over 15,000 acres. The counties' sheriffs' office has ordered evacuations and the National Park Administration has been trying to contain the fire, with a 79% success rate. The lighter of the fire will be nearly impossible to find at this point, as there are no witnesses. The US Forest Service says, "This shows extreme lack of care for public safety and natural resources when people start a campfire, and much less when people abandon a campfire"
I agree with the forest service, that the carelessness of people has caused the environments degradation. I relate this to Roosevelt's attempt at environmental conservation due to big business destroying the environment
