Facebook recently released artificial intelligence designed to aid identify individuals in risk of suicide or self-harm. The software analyzes posts, videos, comments, and other social media actions to catch red flags, quickly emitting an alert or report to real human reviewers and trained responders. Terrible events such as these have occurred live on social media, and failure to halt such actions were due to viewers, friends, and family being unable to recognize signs for danger.

These actions will help individuals immensely, halting anymore deaths that have occurred other the years, multiple (if not all) being extremely loved ones. The only trick or flaw I see in this is that there exist individuals who purposefully act hurt or suicidal or negatively for pity and attention.
