Summary: Monday night, Trump's national security adviser Michael Flynn resigned. Flynn, in his resignation letter, wrote that he "inadvertently" briefed top officials with incomplete information regarding his call with the Russian ambassador. In these calls he apparently talked about U.S sanctions against Russia. Flynn has apologized to Vice President Mike Pence, and to President Trump and they have accepted his apology. Trump has named Lt. Gen Joseph Keith Kellogg, Jr., as his acting national security adviser.
Analysis: I'm not too up to date with the circumstances of these Russian Sanctions or why this man decided to tell the Russian ambassador about them, but the bottom line is that this man is Trump's national security adviser. Security Adviser! It's pretty ironic how the security adviser is actually making the U.S less secure by discussing these sanctions. But of course i don't know all of the details of this debacle, so take this all with a grain of salt.
I suppose this can be connected to the scandals of the 1920's, or more specifically the Tea Pot Dome Scandal. Yes the circumstances are quite different, but both "Scandals" involve politicians doing sly and devious things that went against the constitution.
I just want there to be an end to corruption and all these political scandals.
