Summary:
In a recent news article for the New York Times explains how earlier this month in Bueno Aires three woman were threatened to be arrested due to having topless bikins while sunbathing. A tourist had complained whether it be on purpose or not leading to the police to threaten the women to put on some clothes or else they would be arrested. This then led to a spark in debate whether the police's actions were fair or not which then led to tetazos also known as "boob uprisings" all around the world. Approximately 2,000 women demonstrated all over the country topless or not in response to the sexist act.
Analysis: This article was meant to challenge the views of women's breasts and how they are the same as men's. If men can go topless why can't women too the only difference between a mans breast and a woman's is a hormonal gene. Furthermore I don't see the big deal I mean in countries all over Europe and the United States people are able to sunbathe topless without any conflict or oppression since breasts are just breasts after all. So why can't anyone else for that matter ?
