Mollie Hamman - North Korea missile test-fire

Recently North Korea launched a test-fire missile and deemed it "successful" to which the US, South Korea, and Japan responded by vowing to share more of their intelligence with each other. The UN had a ban on North Korea from allowing missile or nuclear tests to occur, and North Korea did it anyways. South Korea, Japan, and the US had an emergency UN meeting. In September when North Korea did their fifth test they decided that, if needed, they would strictly almost stop coal and metal exports from the country.

As time goes forward, people are finding new technology to help the world as well as protect and destroy. When one person has something more technologically advanced they clearly have an advantage, so when a country is advancing in ways to make better weapons of mass destruction it alarms others.

  1. This was truly terrifying. To think that one day humans may be hurt due to these weapons, and the countries are doing almost nothing to fight it, is worrisome.

  2. We need to find a way to control North Korea before they become a bigger problem.
