Summary: A woman was arrested as a suspect for killing the leader of North Korea's brother, Kim Jong Nam, by spraying some sort of liquid in his face at the airport. Three others were also arrested as suspects. The police believe that the woman sprayed poison on the victim's face, but she claims to have no knowledge of malicious intent. The woman says that she had thought she was part of a reality TV show where people were sprayed in the face with perfume as a prank. She said she had done it several times before with no problems. Immediately following the woman's "prank", Nam went to get medical help and was rushed to a nearby hospital, but died on the way.
Analysis: This article was written on February 20, 2017, by Kathy Quiano, to tell the audience about the recent events in a North Korean airport. The fact that this woman was used for the murder of a well known individual and had no idea blows my mind. This entire situation seems straight out of a movie. It's hard to know if the woman was lying about the event or not, but it seems to me like the woman was used in a carefully manipulated set-up. The people behind the murder were obviously very careful about their plans. This is such a scary situation, especially since the woman was used in such an awful way. This story shows how important it is to stay aware of what's happening around us.
Synthesis: It seems like it is becoming more and more common for people to be involved in very situations and think they are "pranks." Sam Pepper, a popular YouTuber, "killed" a friend's best friend in front of him for a video. He believed it all to be a prank and many people were outraged at how far the situation went.
