Ava Noble: Explosion at Cheesecake Factory

Summary:
On Thursday night in Pasadena, a man threw an explosive device into Cheesecake Factory then ran away. Heavy smoke soon filled the restaurant, and all diners and workers were completely terrified. Nobody was injured in the event because people scattered so quickly. The man is still being searched for. It was reported that the device was handmade, and the man appeared to be possibly from a Hispanic or Middle Eastern descent. He also appeared to have a black beanie on, black clothing, and a big beard. The investigation continues about why this happened.

It is frightening to know that this could happen to any of us, especially because Cheesecake Factory is such a popular restaurant. I am hoping they will find the man soon, and I also hope he will face severe punishment. Prior to reading this article, I had not heard about the incident. Knowing this was posted on CNN, I assume all of the information provided in the article is true. To synthesize, I can relate this to this summer when I was in New York, and we were all told o stay inside of our dorm. A man had thrown a suspicious device into a popular shopping center, so we were not allowed to go to that area until the investigation was complete. I assume a similar situation is happening in Pasadena. I hope this investigation is figured out quickly to give answers to all of the people affected by this event.
