"Beyond The Border"
Its about how thousands of people from Mexico who cross the border and how dangerous this is. Mexican immigrants have been in the news lately and in my life too. Its a big issue in Texas, Arizona, and California. But whenever the immigrants cross the border they go through Texas, and Texas has some very rough terrain especially since there's no water and its about a 200 ml trek. The reporter talks about all the people whom die just to come to the US and live a better life. They talk about a women whom paid the price just to come to America to see her husband and family. Thousands of immigrants die from dehydration and heat stroke from the texas heat. Congress should pass a law to where they should make it easier for immigrants to receive a visa much more easily so that immigrants don't risk their lives crossing the border in such harsh conditions. But instead it's becoming more difficult for immigrants to cross.
There was an act Obama passed for immigrant children to receive citizenship/residency so that they could get an education but once this news got to Mexico thousands of children started crossing the border, and had to pass that same tough terrain and thousands of children started disappearing, and thousands more where being housed in texas and other states because border patrol didn't know what to do with these kids since they're like 3 or 12 and don't have contacts or anything.
So this area has been a problem for a long time and it needs to be looked at, instead of deporting people back they should focus on keeping the borders safe for these immigrants. They're literally risking everything to come to a "better home."
