Cassidy Jones Reports on "Cops and Robbers"

Whilst playing an enjoyable game of "Coos and Robbers", 6 year old (name unknown) retrieved a gun from the top of a refrigerator, and fatally shot his 3 year old brother, Eian LaSalle. The children's Grandfather, Israel LaSalle, confesses he was making Kool-Aid, suddenly heard a gunshot, and found his grandchild lying in his own blood. LaSalle has reported that he wasn't aware of the gun, and now the father of the 2 children, Micheal Santiago, is facing felony of child endangerment.
I'm not really sure who's to blame for this. The father should've known not to leave a gun in an accessible place, or whether the 6 year old son is responsible for using it without permission or an adult around to discontinue use.
This reminds me of the dual between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton. I feel it was meant to be a quick confrontation but it ultimately led to the death of Hamilton. I also can't decide if they were too immature to let it go or dumb enough to show up.

  2. I think it's the dad's fault because it was irresponsible to leave the gun in a place where the children were able to reach it. Also, the child was too young to truly know how dangerous the gun was. -Claudia Anthony

  3. I agree. It is the dad's fault because the 6 year-old boy probably didn't know any better. There should be no guns whatsoever in the house with two very young boys, and if there are, they need to be completely out of reach and out of sight.

  4. I think that the ADULTS in this situation shoudl have had enough common sense to know that these children didnt know the danger of the gun and what repercussions it could of had, because they are just children! I believe that the adults should have been more aware of the possible danger.
