Bluebell is finally back! Paul Radke (5th)

Summary- as of October 2nd the second phase of Blue Bell' market re-entry process begins on November 2nd and includes Central Texas. In the first phase, Bluebell began by restocking stores in the Huston and Austin areas as well as Alabama.

Analysis- Finally, I am able to get my hands on something I have been craving for a long time, BlueBell ice cream. This is a big deal because i eat a lot of ice cream and I am sure that a lot of Texans do. What spells Texas without BlueBell? When the Listeria outbreak happened and all of their products were called back and I was sure they would get it back on the market as soon as possible but yet I am still waiting. In fact I have a half gallon in the freezer that I have not eaten. I am sure that this event will not affect the income of the BlueBell company once they get back on the shelves. But until November 2nd my craving will stay within me.

  1. Yesssss!!!! This makes me very happy. I've been missing blue bell. I wonder, will they replace the Popsicles in the school vending machine back to blue bell?

  2. I wander why they picked November 2nd to be the day Bluebell returned. I think that's a curious thought and someone should check into that. You could compare this to when alcohol was illegal for a short period of time in the early 20th century.

  3. yay ice cream! I think that it's sad that those people died because of the outbreak. I agree with Samantha about it being similar to when alcohol was illegal in the early 1900s because everyone loved it and eventually caused there to be a black market just like there would be with Bluebell if they didn't bring the ice cream back!
