Mekinna Knight- Bush and his pup
Today's article is concerning an article that is extremely sad, yet quite heartwarming. It is a pretty short article, but every word speaks for itself. If you are not aware, George H.W. Bush has recently passed away, a heartbreaking moment for sure all over the US. He did have a service dog that could open doors, guide him to specific places, and many other extremely impressive things that made this dog, Sully, extremely special to Bush. After Bush's passing, the dog was able to visit the past- president's casket and a picture was snapped of the dog laying in front of it. Bush's longtime spokesman shared this photo on twitter with caption "Mission complete #Remembering41" followed by Bush's son, Jeb Bush, retweeting it with the caption "Sully has the watch". The president will reside at the US capitol giving the American Public time to visit and grieve on this great American loss, and will eventually be transported to his final resting place in College Station with his wife Barbara, who died earlier this year, and daughter Robin, who died of leukemia as a child.

This can be associated with the occurrence during President Roosevelt's service where he and his family had been know as having the most animals the white house had ever seen. Among many animals, the Roosevelts were extreme dog lovers, which was a mutual feeling that could be shared by president Bush.
