A bombing at a mosque in Afghanistan killed 14 people and wounded 33. The bombings, undertaken by a radical Islamist group , were very likely targeted at Sunni Muslims within the region. This attack is only the most recent of religious attacks within the country.
The synthesis to be made here, although there are many, most strongly ties to the Civil Rights movement in the South in the 1960's, when members of domestic terrorist organization Ku Klux Klan bombed a black church, killing innocent schoolgirls.
