Storm Claims Louisiana Woman and Toddler

summary:
Just this past Sunday, a severe storm swept through Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana, taking the lives of many U.S. citizens. In Mississippi, a 52 year old woman dialed 911 when her vehicle was tossed off of the road she was on and into a creek. Unfortunately, medics were not able to locate where she was and she drowned. Another woman was killed in Mississippi when a tree crashed into her her house, crushing her inside. In Louisiana, a 38 year old mother and her 3 year old daughter were hiding out in their mobile home when a tornado of over 100 mph picked up their home and ultimately dropping it, they both died. The storm was expected to reach the Carolinas and about a dozen other states, including Texas. Tornado warnings were sent out across America as to keep its citizens as warned as possible if the storm were to hit them.

synthesis:
I think it is horrible how something like a storm could be so dangerous and deadly. I think that this report should make others aware to not drive during a storm such as that, even if they need to get home. instead, take shelter in the nearest, safest building. Also, when under a tornado watch or warning, go somewhere with no windows and a place where they wouldn't be as affected. I also think that the government should be more efficient with its warnings. More safe houses should be built within neighborhoods so that people can get to them quickly in case their houses are not as secure.
