Ava Noble: Different Companies Make Girl Scout Cookies
SUMMARY: In 1917, Girl Scout cookies started being sold. They were first only being produced by hand at home; they were not being manufactured in factories. Due to popular demand, many companies started producing them in big factories. Now, only two companies make Girl Scout cookies. As people tested out the difference in taste between the company's cookies, they realised how different they are. It was evident that the people like the cookies from Little Brownie Bakers more than ABC Bakers.
ANALYSIS: Before reading this article, I had not heard about this. I absolutely love Girl Scout cookies, and the company I always buy them from is Little Brownie Bakers. I am surprised that with how popular they are, that they allow two companies to compete in making cookies that are so similar. This article was posted on CNN, so I think that I can trust that this is true. Overall, I advise everybody to try what these people did and spot the differences in taste between the two companies that make the cookies. I believe this article is for all audiences to recognise what is happening with these cookies!
