Obama Care Repealed- Elijah Macias

Summary: The affordable care act, also known as Obama Care, has been repealed and replaced with The American Health Care act. The new act has gotten rid of the tax penalties for not buying insurance. The bill would continue Obama's expansion of Medicaid to additional low-earning Americans until 2020. After that, states adding Medicaid recipients would no longer receive the additional federal funds the statute has provided.

Analysis: And finally Donald Trump has done it, he got rid of the ill fabled Obama Care. I think this is good step for America; Americans shouldn't be penalized for not buying insurance from the affordable care act. Americans deserve to be able to pick their own insurance. I just hope that this does not hurt medicaid or other things put in place to help the lower class.
This is fairly reminiscent of the implementation of Social Security during the great depression due to them both being bills from the government that help the American people in time of need.
I still don't fully understand the American Health Care act, but hopefully it will be good for America in the long run.
