Leah Nowell - 8th - A day for Women

Today is International Woman's Day and the world has been taking action! Marches for equality and other events have been held all week all around the world. Also, world leaders, organizers, and allies are looking for ways to take part of it. This year's theme is "#BeBoldForChange" which highlights the desire for a more inclusive world. Marches have been taking place in big cities such as New York, Toronto, San Francisco, and Zurich. Also, men and women have been wearing red in solidarity for women worldwide.

This article was published by the website CNN, a popular and trustworthy news website. I can trust this website for not including any bias within their publishings. This article is important because it marks a very important day in history for women. Women have made so much progress in the past with the progressive movement so lets hope for more! This could synthesize to the women's progressive era when women were making large steps in history.
