Kate Pinkerton - 2 years since racist threats

Summary - In Douglasville, Georgie in 2015 a truck with confederate flags pulled up to a birthday party and crashed the party threatening the guests and yelling racist slurs. 2 yeas later the two suspects were given jail time for their threats and for loading and wielding a gun. Many of the attendants of the party were black, thus being the cause of the aggression. The couple being charged were part of a racist group called "respect the flag". This incident shook their neighborhood and the children at the event because they had to learn that many people in there home town were racist.

Analysis - This is really saddening to see that things like this are still a problem. That people think its right to crash a children's party and threaten people with guns just for being black is terrible. I'm glad that the court gave these people jail time because it will help prove in the future that racism and aggression should not be tolerated. I cannot understand why people would threaten to kill someone just because of the color of their skin. I hope that in the future America can become more equal and understanding of those who don't fit the white male type that you have to be to get respect.
