Mikenzie Moon, "Suburbs Outstrip Cities in Population Growth"

Summary: I found this Wall Street Journal article very interesting. It talks about how the growth in suburban  neighborhoods are growing quite rapidly partially in the ages of 25-34. This is most likely because it is proven homes are cheaper in the suburbs. In a study they found homes in urban areas were $365,000 and $305,000 in the suburbs. It was also found that unemployment in urban areas grew by 8%while suburbs employment grew by 9%.

Analysis/Synthesis: With this data it looks like the age of adults with young families are looking for more affordable options. Its very intresting that suburbs are growing so fast, like in the industrial revolution in America. That was when people left rural areas and found factory jobs in big cities. This is   almost  opposite now.  People are leaving big cities and moving to suburbs. With the suburbs growing at the rate they are now is the same as big cities were growing during the industrial revolution.  I think Urban areas will continue to stay largely populated however, young families will continue to move to the suburbs.
