Leslie Z.- Human evolution 'not yet over'

According to a recent study, the numbers  of mothers in need of surgery during birth ,due to their narrow pelvis size increased from 30 in 1'000 in 1960 to  36 to 1,000 today.During past years having a small pelvis size meant both death for the child and the mother . Australia researchers say that the new trend is likely to continue, yet it will not limit the surgical birth  but it will probably become antiquate.Dr.Philli Mitteroecker has pointed out that with the gathered information the question of evolution has risen:Has the medical intervention have  altered the perspective of the natural selection ?It's been stated that the pelvis hasn't  grown wider  throughout history ,even though the head of the human baby is larger than  other primates.Scientists predict that the global rate of  cases in which the baby couldn't fit the  birth  canal would be about 3%.

The  article from BBC news  informs  the people about the current effects ,studies, and  discoveries of  science and  the environment. Written by Helen  Brings ,  educated women of society who probably wrote the article to informs the women about their bodies .Statistics  such as those involving science and changes through time show  history in a different way by showing the marks that each decade has and how it affected the human body as part of evolution .

  1. I think that is interesting how we are still evolving into different people. It might be due to not being survival for the fittest and just the passing of a mutation of the genes.
