Many people have been wondering over the last few days over where their loved ones may be or what can they do to help. After the tragic event that happened in the Oakland fire,many people are still missing with no trace of what is happening to them. To help this situation many people have been going on to the official facebook page of the event,setting out questions for people like"missing if seen please contact "or help shout outs. This is helping many be able to let people know they're okay and write what happened from their perspective .

This article was published Monday December the 5th 2016 by Ralph Ellis. He described the purpose and procedure of this facebook page, he also included how people have been using other social medias alongside twitter. This was my very first time reading from this other and hearing about this topic . I hope everyone is doing good and that everyone hurt will get better emotionally and physically. This topic for sure is something I'll share and check up on later. This topic allows us to see how YES social media isn't always great but there are many good reasons for them and they will help us with many of things as this does.

Social media is a great tool for many situations and this is another example of how helpful it can be even in a tragic event as this. It's such a shame this happened and could have been prevented.
ReplyDeleteSocial media always gets a bad rap, but in times like this, it is highly advantageous to us. The power we have to communicate to people thousands of miles away was not present a hundred years ago, and look how much we have improved.
