Summary: At least 43 bodies have been recovered from the site of a plane crash in Pakistan.
According to Pakistan International Airlines, forty-eight people were on board the airplane when it went down on Wednesday. Flight PK-661 was carrying 42 passengers, five crew members and one ground engineer when it lost contact with a control tower on its way from Chitral to Islamabad. A very famous Pakustanian pop star, Junaid Jamshed, was onboard. Jamshed gained his fame during the 1980s with Vital Signs, one of the most iconic pop bands in Pakistan. After a successful career as a solo singer, he gave up pop stardom to focus on religious music, or nasheeds. His last tweet, posted Sunday, showed pictures of what he called "Heaven on Earth" in Chiral where his plane took off. Strangely, these airlines in Pakistan are usually extremely safe, but it has a checkered air safety history and suffered three fatal commercial air crashes in 2010 that claimed 185 lives, according to the Aviation Safety Network.
Analysis: This article was published by Holly Yan from CNN on December 7, 2016. The author uses a third person point of view to convey an unbiased article. Additionally, I had absolutely no preview knowledge of this topic, so this article made me realize how important our international travel relations are with other countries. If we could have maintained good relations, we might have been able to regulate their travel through this difficult time and save many lives. This article was written for any citizen of the US abortion, or people from Pakistan who lost someone very special to them. Although this was not an act of terrorism that we know of, this crash could synthesize to the terrorist attack on September 9, 2001. Thousands of lives were lost due to lack of security in our transportation system, just as these lives were lost due to lack of security and their plane structure.
