Emily Miller- dog tests positive for meth and heroin

http://www.cnn.com/2016/05/21/us/california-dog-tests-positive-for-meth-and-heroin/index.html

Joshua West was arrested in a hotel room, and along with illegal drugs and needles, his dog was found under the influence. Police took his dog to an animal shelter and confirmed that the dog Bubba tested positive for meth and heroin. This kind of animal abuse, in my opinion, is as bad or worse than physically abusing your pet. He put his dog in a state that the dog did not have control over. There is no telling how the dog could have reacted to the substances. It could have died.

I think this case shouldn't so much be about Joshua West possessing illegal drugs, but using them in the way he did. He faces charges for drug possession and animal abuse.
