A girl, who was 12 years old, died after a game of tug of war during her school field's day activities. Coaches and nurses there imidietly tried to resuscite the six-grader but were unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead at the hospital later. The accident happened around noon on Thursday. The girl's name has not been released yet. She didn't appear to have any kind of health condition that may have lead to her death. The Field day activities were originally scheduled for Friday, but was moved up a day to avoid the probability of rain.
This is such a tragedy. She was very young to die and the cause of death is still unknown. I feel sorry for anybody who loved her because they don't have the information they need. This reminds me of when the kids in the old age started getting Small Pox and nobody knew what it was and how to cure it.
