Jimmy Carter Talks about Racism Rodney McDonald 9

Summary: Former president Jimmy Carter, who was recently freed of cancer, says that there is a resurgence of racism. He says that he's planning a Baptist Conference to face this problem. He also states that he's glad that people have waken up. He says that people are starting to realize that racism was not solved in the 1960s and 70s.

Analysis: I think this is a great article. I agree that people are starting to wake up and realize that racism is not a thing of the past. But I don't think that it's a resurgence of racism because I think that racism never went away. I think instead of sicking dogs and blasting us with water hoses in the streets it took the form of keeping the confederate flag on a government building.
