Due to many factors including climate change, destruction of natural habitats, and pollution, nearly a  North American birds are under the threat of extinction. The future looks dim for these little ones, and it is solely the result of human society. Primarily ocean birds are under threat, but also birds in tropical, semi-tropical, coastal, aridlands, grasslands, and forests are under attack.

If something isn't done soon for these species, we may loose 100s of remarkable species. Humans are quickly becoming the reason for the 6th mass extinction. Since the industrial revolution, pollution and destruction of natural habitats have been prevalent, but haven't been on the minds of people until recently. Things need to be done soon if we want to save these birds and other animals under threat.
